Description
The base version of our Ancient Future modern mailbox is made of beveled cedar slats (weather- and rot-resistant). The ground contact treated 4×4 posts are painted black to create a trim effect. Address numbers are engraved at 5.8 inches tall (about the height of a cedar slat). Medium-size black architectural steel mailbox. 1 black solar post light. Stained on location after free delivery and installation.
The chute of the mailbox rests about 47 inches above ground. The complete structure after installation: Height 55 inches from solar post lamp; depth 25 inches from front to back; 5.5 inches wide. Installation includes cementing the 4×4 posts in the ground.
Available upgrades: Solar address lights; 5.8-inch tall name engraving (your font choice); black 3D cutout wooden address numbers at 10 or 12 inches tall and nearly an inch thick; lower image engraving at 12 inches tall (email image or logo or photo or design supplied by you).
This model takes about 6 days or less to complete and deliver. Takes us about 15-20 minutes to dig up your old mailbox and another 20-30 minutes to install and stain the Ancient Future.
